Echinacea

ECHINACEA EXTRACT
(Echinacea angustifolia/purpurea)

Used for its toning and conditioning properties, Echinacea is native to North America. We source our skin-smoothing extract from within the United Kingdom, where the plant is harvested in July and August before the ingredient is extracted and micro-filtered from the flowers, leaves and stem.

Hops

HOPS EXTRACT
(Humulus lupulus)

Used for its mild astringent properties, we source our hops from the United Kingdom and Germany, where the leafy green hop strobiles are harvested in August and September before they are fully ripe. The strobiles are then dried in the shade before being extracted to create our ingredient.

Lavender

LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL
(Lavandula angustifolia)

This comforting, calming oil has been widely used since the late 16th Century. Renowned for its wonderful, calming aroma, recent research has shown the benefits of this versatile oil help induce a restful night’s sleep. We source our lavender from the Mount Ventoux area of France and Bulgaria, for their superb quality.

Geranium

GERANIUM ESSENTIAL OIL
(Pelargonium graveolens)

Adored for its fresh, floral rose-like fragrance, we source our evergreen, perennial geraniums mostly from Egypt, where our pure essential oil is steam-distilled from the branches the plant.

The pump lasts well too so it is definitely my go to, always have, hand cream, although it doesn't last as long when my daughter visits as she loves it too!

I have quite crepe hands and this is the only hand repair that leaves them smooth and nourished. I only have to use it once to twice a day. The Orange Flower smell is so delicious and moreish and it does stay with you. I recommend this product very highly, it is a must for me, especially now as I am in that menopausal age. I wasn't convinced at first (a few years ago) but then after going back to trying cheaper hand creams, I realised how fabulous it really is. Sinks in easily and my hands are aging slower I feel. I get other hand creams as gifts occasionally which I will either regift or keep at work (hybrid working) or in my toiletries bag for emergencies but I use Liz Earle all the time at home. My hands love it! Lovely fragrance too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ‘Does what it says on the tin’! Repairs and rejuvenates hands AND nails, even after gardening. One pump to both hands, smooth on, then leave to bond with your skin. It’s not greasy, so don’t rub for too long or it will become bitty as it dries. For intensive overnight treatment I sometimes add a pump of ‘Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate’ first, but its by no means essential, I just love the smell! Highly recommended as a gift for gardeners too.
