COCOA BUTTER
(Theobroma cacao)
Famous for its excellent emollient properties, we source our cocoa butter from West Africa, where fermented beans of the cocoa tree are roasted, cracked and ground to give a powdery solid called cocoa mass, from which cocoa butter is pressed.
ROSEMARY EXTRACT
(Rosmarinus officinalis)
Used for its antioxidant properties, we source our rosemary from Spain, where the extract is filtered from the needle-shaped leaves of the plant.
CHAMOMILE EXTRACT
(Anthemis nobilis)
Legendary for its skin-soothing properties, the flowers of this aromatic perennial are harvested in England in the summer, before the ingredient is solvent extracted from the fragrant flower.
EUCALYPTUS ESSENTIAL OIL
(Eucalyptus globulus)
Renowned for its purifying properties and invigorating aroma, we source our eucalyptus from China, where our essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the fast-growing eucalyptus tree.

Hi. How many applications/uses per 100ml of the cleanse and Polish? Thanks
Hi, thanks for getting in touch. Our 100ml Pump Cleanse & Polish has 66 pumps of product and 1 - 2 pumps is plenty for each use. If you are cleansing twice daily, a 100ml should last you at least a month. It is a little more tricky to advise with a tube, as it depends how much you dispense for each use. However, a small grape sized amount is plenty.

My 14 year old grandson has started to get spots is Cleanse and Polish suitable for him and does he need to use the Instant Boost Skin Tonic and Skin Repair Cream or is Cleanse and Polish adequate.

We have received some favourable feedback from customers who have used our Cleanse & Polish and moisturisers on their teenagers, and pre-teens skin with good results. However, as a general precaution we would always recommend a patch test is applied at least 24 hours before the first use of any new skincare product.
Young skin responds well to a gentle, simple and regular skincare routine – ideally twice a day. Cleansing the skin is vital for removing daily grime and bacteria that can lead to spots. Cleansing also helps shift dead skin cells and clear pores to leave skin brighter and clearer. Ultra-kind to skin, we would recommend our original Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser for teenage skin, with naturally active ingredients of purifying eucalyptus oil, soothing chamomile and toning hops that will help gain control of the skin.
This can be followed by our Instant Boost Skin Tonic. Our alcohol free toner helps to soothe and refresh skin, whilst providing an added level of hydration.
Moisturising is important, for nourishing and protecting the skin. Moisturising is an essential final step of your daily skincare regime, their is no exception for younger or, oily skin. However, if your grandsons skin is oily or, he is getting blemishes, he could try our Skin Repair Gel Cream to help condition your skin without overloading it and leaves a matt finish.

Love this cleanser but could you make smaller bottles that are reusable? They would be great for use when travelling.
Hi, thanks for getting in touch. Whilst we do have 30ml and 50ml options available for our Cleanse & Polish, a refill system is not something we are looking to introduce.
Unfortunately, offering multiuse or refillable packaging is not an option as some of our formulations can be sensitive to light and by changing the container, this opens the formulation to a different environment. Our packaging is primarily developed to protect the product and to provide a quality customer experience.
We want to assure you that we very carefully consider the impact of our packaging from all aspects. We know we’re not perfect but everything that we do counts.

Can cleanse & polish be used by my 11 year old granddaughter. Her skin is becoming greasy
Cleanse and polish balances the oils in the skin.its good for oily skin and also dry patches on the skin. Leaves skin feeling soft and moisturised. Cleanse and polishes can be used for any age. Wouldn’t be without it.

Has there recently been a change to the formulation of this or your matching toner? This and the toner used to be so good for sensitive skin but I’m finding it is triggering my eczema when it never used to so wanted to enquire whether you’ve changed it?
I have sensitive skin and also have used the tonic for years. I haven’t noticed any change as yet , but I am using tonic that is 6 months old .

Have you recently changed the formula in any way? I've been using this for years and have recently noticed it's not as creamy as before, plus the fragrance doesn't seem as strong
I have been using this for 20 years and I’ve most recently noticed that this is now leaving scum in my sink after use and it never did that before. There must have been a change to some cheaper ingredients for it to do this. The original smell is also changed as it’s lost that eucalyptus scent.

How to useLIZEARLE Naturally active napkin?

Used alongside our Cleanse & Polish, our Pure Cotton Cloths will gently exfoliate the skin. Rinse the cloth under hand-hot water and gently wring it out, then wipe away all traces of cleanser from your skin. Use with circular movements to stimulate the skin, dislodge dead skin cells and lift away impurities and make up. Rinse thoroughly after every use and allow the cloth to air dry naturally. We recommend that you pop them into a 30 degree white wash after every few uses to keep them fresh and clean.
