For 72 hours of balanced hydration. Offering 72 hours of balanced hydration, this lightweight, plant-powered moisturiser locks in moisture and effortlessly hydrates to restore balance to all skin types.
With a silky texture, this moisturiser is enriched with a blend of moisturising borage oil, avocado oil to smooth and soften, soothing echinacea and toning hops.
After use, skin feels comfortable, supple and glows with natural radiance.
We particularly recommend Skin Repair™ Light Cream for normal/combination skin but it is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive.

AVOCADO OIL
(Persea gratissima)
Legendary for its healthy fat content and emollient properties, the avocado is native to Central America. To extract the vitamin-rich, skin-nourishing oil, the succulent flesh of the ripe fruit is squeezed.
BORAGE SEED OIL
(Borago officinalis)
Renowned for its fantastic moisturising properties, we source our borage from England, where the pure, GLA-rich oil is pressed from the shiny, dark brown seeds of the bright blue flower.
ECHINACEA EXTRACT
(Echinacea angustifolia/purpurea)
Used for its toning and conditioning properties, Echinacea is native to North America. We source our skin-smoothing extract from within the United Kingdom, where the plant is harvested in July and August before the ingredient is extracted and micro-filtered from the flowers, leaves and stem.
HOPS EXTRACT
(Humulus lupulus)
Used for its mild astringent properties, we source our hops from the United Kingdom and Germany, where the leafy green hop strobiles are harvested in August and September before they are fully ripe. The strobiles are then dried in the shade before being extracted to create our ingredient.

Remember to look for the sizing!
I received this cream as part of a set at Christmas, I liked it so much I purchased separately. Iv looked everywhere for what I thought was the travel size (as iv seen the proper version in a jar) I stupidly ordered this thinking id get the same size. The cream arrived in a fairly large box, so all looked well... until I opened it, I couldn't find it for ages..lost in all the lovely eco friendly packaging was a very tiny 'travel sized' version on 15ml not the 50ml I had! My own fault entirely 🤦🏻♀️ Love this cream and im now on the lookout for the 50ml version 🤦🏻♀️

Best moisturiser iv ever used
I love this moisturiser, iv tried both the light and rich, I do prefer the light cream but rich is lovely too. This sinks into the skin so easily, it doesn’t leave a sticky or greasy feel which for me is a big benefit. When I started this i used only Liz Earle products for 2 weeks and noticed a real difference, my skin was brighter, the texture a lot smoother looking, I had some redness which had definitely calmed. For me this is by far the best moisturiser iv ever used.

Excellent night and day
I bought this along with the rich cream to see which best suited me. This one is my favourite. It smells divine, a little goes a long way, it absorbs well, does not pill under make up, and works as a night cream. This will be my go to moisturiser.

Given the oil content, is this product actually non-comedogenic?

None of the products in the Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare range have been tested for comedogenicity. However, we believe that one ingredient that could cause a product to be comedogenic is mineral oil, and this is not something that is used in our skincare range, as we believe that plant oils are better for the skin.

Can a 12 years old girl with sensitive skin use this?
This product is absolutely brilliant; light and non-greasy, ideal for ANY age, even for young ones coming into their teenage years where their skin is changing and that extra (and good) start to their beauty regime.

Can you use Skin Repair Light Cream, day & night, around the eyes?
I don’t see why not. I personally use the light cream during the day & a superskin moisturiser at night. Hope this helps🙃

Does your moisturisers have a spf factor in?

As our moisturisers are suitable for use both morning and evening, we have made this decision not to include SPF within these formulations. However, we would recommend our Environmental Defence Cream. This non-comedogenic formula delivers SPF25 broad spectrum protection, from UVA and UVB rays, blue light and pollution while enhancing skin's natural defence barrier. This should applied after your moisturiser, as the last step in your skincare routine.

What is the parfum in this product please? After reading the comments what has changed with the ingredients in this product? please? Why did it change if it was liked by many? Does Liz Earle still own this company or has it been taken over?
I don't use this product, as it's not one of the original products produced when Liz Earle was still in charge, so I can't comment on the change in perfume. I stick to the superskin and original cleanse and polish. However, in answer to the other question, Liz Earle sold the company in 2010 to Avon (horrendous record for testing products on animals, so god knows why). They then sold to Walgreens, who own Boots. The products have been going downhill ever since.

IS THERE NOW NO CHANCE Liz Earle will ever REINTRODUCE the ORIGINAL MOISTURISER? I used it for MANY years and NEVER had a skin complaint. I persevered with the NEW FORMULA but it caused spots/rashes. Many customers must surely want a return of the ORIGINA

We can confirm that we do not have any plans to reintroduce our previous original Skin Repair formulations and we appreciate some of our longstanding customers may still prefer the previous formulas. We are saddened to learn that the new generation of Skin Repairs do not suit your skin, all of our formulations are made as mild and gentle as possible, and all products are assessed and approved by independent safety experts prior to placing them on the market. However, we are aware that any individual can react to even the most natural of ingredients in the same way as we all can to certain foodstuff. As everyone’s skin is so very different, what can be suitable for one person may not be suitable for another.
We would recommend getting in touch with us to discuss your recent skin experience in more detail and for us to make some other moisturiser recommendations, provide bespoke skincare and aftercare. Do all your moisturisers have SPF in them

Our moisturisers don't contain SPF, this is so they can be used both am and pm (with no sun at night there’s no need to use an SPF). It’s important to protect your skin daily with an SPF and we offer our Environmental Defence Cream, SPF 25 to protect the skin against UVA/B rays, blue light.
