This light, non-oily herbal formula is powered by eyebright extract – renowned for its soothing properties - as well as cooling cornflower, hydrating aloe vera and toning witch hazel.

ALOE VERA
(Aloe barbadensis)
Featuring formidable hydrating, soothing and cooling properties, our aloe vera is harvested in the morning to maximise the amount of juice the sword-shaped fronds yield, before being freeze-dried to create a powder.
CORNFLOWER EXTRACT
(Centaurea cyanus)
Used for its soothing and cooling properties, we source our cornflower from Europe, where we extract our ingredient from the rich blue flowers of the plant.
EYEBRIGHT EXTRACT
(Euphrasia officinalis)
Legendary for its soothing and refreshing properties, and rich in tannins, flavonoids and glycosides, our eyebright is harvested in Bulgaria, where the aerial parts of the plant are macerated in water for 7 days to create our extract.
WITCH HAZEL WATER
(Hamamelis virginiana)
Legendary for its soothing and toning properties, witch hazel is native to the eastern coast of North America, and our witch hazel water is distilled from the chopped, macerated leaves of the flowering shrub.

An amazing product
This is the product I can not be without. I reach for eyebright first thing in the morning to soothe my eyes. It feels so cool and refreshing. I also use it on my partner who is very sick at the moment and gets very dry skin around his eyes. He sais it's such a relief when he puts the eyebright soaked cotton pads on his eyes.

Shame about the packaging but great product
I absolutely love this product, but I do have one little gripe! The starter kit has a great pump bottle, which dispenses exactly the right amount. I much prefer it to the squeezy tube.

I love the eyebright in the beige bottle I received a free eyebright in the blue bottle, it irritates my eyes, is this because this one now contains micellar water?

This contains a blend of ingredients that will help with dark circles, puffiness and will remove light eye makeup. Whilst this is gentle enough for use on the entire face, for best results, we would suggest using one of our Skin Tonics.
Our Instant Boost Skin Tonic will refresh, soothe and brighten the appearance of skin. Our alcohol-free toner is gentle and non-drying. This will replenish skin with hydration to prep for the next step in your routine.

This has burnt my under eyes what do I do??

The skin around my eyes is quite red, possibly due to bay fever, when I used Eyebright it stung, not badly but enough not to be relaxing, should I continue using it?
I wouldn't use Eyebright on your eyes if it stung. I had a similar problem and used my Eyebright up as a facial toner.

My skin under my eyes is red and sore and i have sensitive patches on my skin i need help, will this and any moisturiser help me with my problem? Is there any product you can recommend
Eyebright will sooth your eyes, revitalise tired eyes and is wonderful in hayfever season, keep your bottle in the fridge for a cooling refreshing feel to your eyes.
It sounds as though you need a moisturiser that is calming , soothing and hydrates , I would suggest trying skin repair rich cream which offers 72 hours of hydration, locking in moisture, deeply hydrates restoring balance to your skin . Your skin will feel soothed,comforted and will glow with natural radiance. For an extra boost of hydration try adding a few drops of Calming Botanical Drops to your moisturiser for soothing and hydrating, skin will feel calm, soothed and look plumped and replenished. Your skin will thank you for it. Keep it simple and easy, that's what Liz Earle products are all about !!

Hello, I got this as part of a gift set and wondered if applying my usual eye cream after using it would be ok or would this be considered a replacement for that?

You would absolutely apply your eye cream after like normal.
I mostly use Eyebright every morning as soon as I wake up to soothe my tired puffy eyes, I absolutely love it and would never be without it now.

Whilst our Eyebright Soothing Eye Cleanser does remove light eye makeup, it has not been tested to remove waterproof makeup. You may find that using our Eyebright Soothing Eye Cleanser as a compress first helps to remove the initial traces of make-up and then you follow with a thorough application of our Cleanse & Polish.
