Alaria Esculenta Extract

ALARIA ESCULENTA EXTRACT

This brown algae, sourced in Brittany, is rich in essential fatty acids and sterols, making it an effective skin moisturiser. Also known as winged kelp, it demonstrates anti-elastase activity which results in firmer-feeling skin.

Dragons Blood Extract

DRAGON'S BLOOD EXTRACT
(Croton lechleri)

Sustainably sourced from Peru, dragon’s blood extract is rich in proanthocyanidins, which act as antioxidants, and a biologically active alkaloid called taspine, which is known to help barrier function properties.

Pomegranate Seed Oil

POMEGRANATE FLOWER OIL
(Punica granatum)

With strong antioxidant and firming properties, we source our pomegranate flowers from India, where they are harvested by hand in May and June before the extract is produced by macerating the flowers.

Argan Oil

ARGAN OIL
(Argania spinosa)

Renowned for its intensely nourishing and hydrating properties, argan is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidant vitamin E. Native to Morocco, our oil is extracted by pressing the sun-dried, roasted and ground kernels of the plum-sized fruit.

But the last time I bought it, which was very many years ago, it came in a different pack - one whereyou could apply the gel direct to your lips. In this one, it's a finger job - not quite so hand. Or maybe too handy depending on how you look at it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great balm, poor packaging I really enjoy the lip balm, as other reviews say it has a more distinct taste than normal but I find it pleasant. Very thick so tiny amounts are needed as well. Unfortunately I'm marking down so much due to packaging, aluminium tube leaks and gets sticky and worse mine has actually burst so I can't carry it around with over half the product left.. at this price tag it's not acceptable, I lost at least £10 of product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING LIP BALM Noticeable difference on first use meaning I only need to use it bedtime. Approx 30 years ago I had a rescue cat hanging off the left side of my top lip which left a very noticeable scar because of the plumping of this Balm it's virtually disappeared. My lips look & feel better too. I actually put it on with a lip brush.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Application So disapointed with my new lip balm. It is a great product but the packaging has changed so that you can no longer apply the balm like you would a lip stick. The original mode of application meant that it as so easy to apply when out and about. I personally think having to apply to your lips with you finger extremely unhygenic, unless just having washed your hands. The low star rating reflects my dislike for the change to the method of application not the procuct

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The balm made my lips very dry and sore Unfortunately I had very dry lips and bought the lip balm on recommendation of staff. Within days my lips were getting more sore and tight feeling. I also agree with another reviewer that the packaging is poor. In theory, a metal tube is a good idea but the balm kept coming out of the tube and making it very sticky. I'm afraid I was definitely disappointed.

Is this product suitable for a 12 year old?

Can this product be used as an eye cream? I used it by accident on my eyes. Will it have any effect on my eyes?

Our Superskin Superlip Balm has been tested for use on the lips only, and has not been tested for use on the eyes, so we would not recommend using this around the delicate eye area.
