Alaria Esculenta Extract

ALARIA ESCULENTA EXTRACT

This brown algae, sourced in Brittany, is rich in essential fatty acids and sterols, making it an effective skin moisturiser. Also known as winged kelp, it demonstrates anti-elastase activity which results in firmer-feeling skin.

Dragons Blood Extract

DRAGON'S BLOOD EXTRACT
(Croton lechleri)

Sustainably sourced from Peru, dragon’s blood extract is rich in proanthocyanidins, which act as antioxidants, and a biologically active alkaloid called taspine, which is known to help barrier function properties.

Pomegranate Seed Oil

POMEGRANATE FLOWER OIL
(Punica granatum)

With strong antioxidant and firming properties, we source our pomegranate flowers from India, where they are harvested by hand in May and June before the extract is produced by macerating the flowers.

Argan Oil

ARGAN OIL
(Argania spinosa)

Renowned for its intensely nourishing and hydrating properties, argan is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidant vitamin E. Native to Morocco, our oil is extracted by pressing the sun-dried, roasted and ground kernels of the plum-sized fruit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expensive! I bought this just before Christmas as I was starting to suffer with dry lips. I feel it is a very expensive vaseline! I've not noticed my dry lips improving nor the plumping of my lips. On the positive note, as it is very thick. It will last along time. I've not noticed any taste when I've used it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Been using this for a couple of years now, suffered with severe dry lips all my life, this works,it softens the dry skin so you can gently exfoliate it away and then regular use prevents the lips from getting chapped again. Wouldn't be without it.

I've used Liz Earle products for decades and this does not do what the packaging says and is not the usual high quality that I've come to expect. It's thick and heavy and leaves lips very sticky and uncomfortable, no matter how little you apply. There is also an unpleasant smell.

But the last time I bought it, which was very many years ago, it came in a different pack - one whereyou could apply the gel direct to your lips. In this one, it's a finger job - not quite so hand. Or maybe too handy depending on how you look at it!

Is this product suitable for a 12 year old?

Can this product be used as an eye cream? I used it by accident on my eyes. Will it have any effect on my eyes?

Our Superskin Superlip Balm has been tested for use on the lips only, and has not been tested for use on the eyes, so we would not recommend using this around the delicate eye area.
