Powered by ingredients expertly selected for their efficacy including brightening Persian silk tree extract, pomegranate flower to smooth, plus restorative buriti fruit and a trio of borage, rosehip and cranberry seed oils, this botanical blend also rehydrates and nourishes, locking in moisture to support skin’s overnight rejuvenation process for firmer-feeling skin.

 

The perfect way to soothe the senses before bedtime, our nourishing night cream is also scented with a calming blend containing lavandin, chamomile and neroli essential oils.

(Borago officinalis)

Renowned for its fantastic moisturising properties, we source our borage from England, where the pure, GLA-rich oil is pressed from the shiny, dark brown seeds of the bright blue flower.

Cranberry Seed Oil

CRANBERRY SEED OIL
(Vaccinium macrocarpon)

Used in our products for its ability to help improve moisture retention, cranberries are native to the peat wetlands of North America. Rich in skin-plumping essential fatty acids and nourishing vitamin E, our oil is produced by cold-pressing the seeds of the bright, red berries.

Avocado Oil

AVOCADO OIL
(Persea gratissima)

Legendary for its healthy fat content and emollient properties, the avocado is native to Central America. To extract the vitamin-rich, skin-nourishing oil, the succulent flesh of the ripe fruit is squeezed.

Shea Butter

SHEA BUTTER
(Butyrospermum parkii)

Renowned for its excellent emollient properties and ability to help improve the barrier function of the skin, we source our shea butter from West Africa, where the pulp of the fruit is removed to reveal the kernel, which is boiled and dried in the sun before being shelled for pressing.

Wonderful smell which I find very relaxing & calming when massaging my face & kneck. It isn't heavy & is absorbed before I hit the pillow. If you are thinking about trying it, just do it.

Do you recommend using Superskin Nourishing Night Cream every night for combination skin?

Our luxurious Superskin Nourishing Night cream is expertly proven to even the look of skin tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while you sleep and is suitable for all skin types including combination skin. It is a very rich cream which rehydrates and nourishes, locking in moisture to support the skin`s natural overnight rejuvenation process so whilst it can certainly be used each night may find it better to concentrate more on the drier areas of the skin each night and avoid the more oily T zone. Hi. Do you advise using the superskin serum under this?

Personally I find this night cream so beautifully rich I don’t need the serum as well. Maybe once the weather gets colder adding the serum will help with the cold and dryness of central heating. An extra boost for dry skin

If you want something thick and rich I would recommend super skin night cream rather than the skin repair hydrating night cream

What is the difference between the SuperSkin Night Cream and the Skin repair Hydrating night cream?  Which is better for dry flaking skin?

I use the super skin night cream as I’m Older and I wake with more plumped skin . It’s a richer but not heavy cream formula which works for me . I don’t have dry flaky skin so couldn’t comment. A night time hydrating mask a couple of times a week is also good and liz Earle have many products which work well overnight

Is this product for more mature skin? I’m 33 and have combination skin and early signs of aging such as fine lines, would this be suitable for my skin or too rich?

I am 59 and it’s just too greasy for my skin. I use the tiniest amount and it just doesn’t sink in properly. It sits on my skin all night so I have to sleep on my back when using it. It leaves my skin tacky despite using barely any at all. I love the aroma though.  Hope that helps!

Is the superskin range non comedogenic?

Hi there, thank you for your question. I can advise that none of our products within the Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare range have been tested for comedogenicity. However, we believe that one ingredient that could cause a product to be comedogenic is mineral oil and this is not something that is used in our skincare range, as we believe that plant oils are better for the skin.
