About this polish

Advanced skin resurfacing for brighter, younger-looking skin. For salon results at home, our 3-in-1 polish delivers naturally derived chemical and physical exfoliation in a nourishing formula to reveal a soft and more youthful-looking complexion instantly.

 

The chemical exfoliation is delivered by fruit enzyme AHAs, dissolving skin-dulling particles in just 5 minutes, while ultra-fine powdered pumice physically buffs away tired surface cells. With its luxurious texture, the cream is enriched with moisturising shea butter and rosehip oil to ensure skin isn't stripped of essential oils, while the relaxing neroli scent makes for a truly spa-like experience.

 

Powered by ingredients expertly selected for their efficacy: ultra-fine volcanic pumice crystals, naturally derived fruit AHAs (from orange, lemon, bilberry, sugar cane and sugar maple), shea butter and rosehip oil.

 

This product contains an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure during usage of the product and for a week after use of the product has stopped. Avoid contact with the eyes. If the product gets into eyes, rinse with water.

 

As with all exfoliators that contain AHAs, we recommend doing a patch test at least 24 hours beforehand and reaching out to your dermatologist before using if you have sensitive skin or any known skincare conditions.

Use once a week after cleansing. We recommend wearing SPF daily as part of your morning routine, especially after using products that contain AHAs such as Superskin™ Microdermabrasion Polish.

STEP 1

Lightly massage a small amount onto damp skin over your face, neck and décolletage in circular movements and leave on for 5 minutes.

Volcanic pumice

Pumice stone is renowned for its satisfying exfoliating properties. Naturally sourced, our ultra-fine pumice has been powdered to ensure that the particles are extremely small, giving an invigorating result when massaged over your skin.

Shea butter

(Butyrospermum parkii)

Renowned for its excellent emollient properties and ability to help support the skin’s moisture barrier, we source our shea butter from West Africa, where the pulp of the fruit is removed to reveal the kernel, which is boiled and dried in the sun before being shelled for pressing.

Rosehip seed oil

What is the shelf life unopened please?

We can confirm that all of our products have been formulated with a minimum unopened shelf life of 36 months from the date of manufacture, if stored in optimum conditions (a cool, dark place, away from light, heat or humidity). Once opened, all products should be used within the ‘period after opening’. This is an open jar symbol which identifies the lifespan of a product in months once opened for the first time and can be used as a guide once your product has been opened. Can I use the gentle exfoliator in a couple of days of using microdermabrasion or should I wait a week before using it?

In the information about using this product the advice is to use it once a week. It then goes on to explain the need to limit sun exposure during usage and for a week after use of the product has stopped. How long do you advise using the product for?

Would this product help with sun damaged brown patches on the skin?

Honestly I am not sure if it will help with brown patches but in truth I can tell you that your skin will thank you for it. Between the microbermabrasion polish and the superskin alt-retinol skin paste it has worked wonders for my skin. I hope this helps.
