Another addition to my Liz Earle routine
Have used the Instant Boost Skin Tonic twice daily since 1998, but now I use this instead. At first I wasn't sure if it replaced the skin tonic, so I used that first, then followed with this, but now I just use this on it's own. It makes my skin feel really soft and plump and is very calming and soothing when my rosacea is flared up from changes of temperature. It smells amazing and I use it sometimes with a cotton wool pad and sometimes pour a small amount into my hand, rub my hands together to distribute it, so it doesn't drip off my hands and pat on my face. It feels like more of a treatment if you pat it on, as you feel like you're applying it to your skin, instead of just wiping with it as if you're using it to remove something else. Love this product.

Lovely!
This is totally different to the other toners. Its a bi phase, you need to shake the bottle before use and its quite a viscous liquid. It smells lovely and leaves a nice plump feeling to your skin. It doesn't disappear like other toners but seems to add another layer to your skin regime. I'm hoping Santa reads this.

Effective new product for dry skin
I've just started using this and my skin loves it. I do have very dry skin and so I can fully understand why those with greasy skin would not be keen as it does have an oily feel. I am using it at night and in the morning and I'm finding I don't need quite so much moisturiser which is great. Very happy face!

I started using this recently as I developed some sun damage on my cheek. I'm hoping this product will help prevent further areas being affected.
Very nice to use, I sweep it over my face and neck after toning. Leaves my skin feeling smooth.

Unexpectedly effective
The Liz Earle rep at John Lewis recommended this about 2 months ago and I’m so glad she did. It’s made a real difference to the texture of my skin, particularly my neck. I’m 63 and have tried a whole lot of pretty expensive anti-ageing products. This range is reasonably priced and just as effective as anything I’ve tried. The brightening essence may seem like an extra, but it makes the moisturiser sink in more effectively. This is how I use it - I pour a few drops into the palm of my hand (after cleansing) then hold both palms together and then transfer hands to face, just gently allowing the fluid to warm up and sink into face and neck. Lovely feeling. I tried with cotton wool pad but it felt sticky and oily. I was ready to give up on it till I tried the palms method. I then follow with the firming serum-in moisturiser, and it just glides over my skin, with a smaller amount than usual needed. I actually look forward to my evening skin routine these days!

I probably wouldn’t use this under makeup, but if you do make sure it’s completely soaked into your skin before you do

Will the new Superskin Advanced Brightening Essence be made available as Stage 2 of the Build Your Skincare Routine?
Hi, I watched Sarah Carr on QVC explaining how to use it. First cleanse your face, then use Instant Boost Skin Tonic. Then, after shaking the bottle of Superskin Advanced Brightening Essance, put a few drops on your skin. When it has had a few minutes to soak in go ahead with your serum and moisturiser.

Is this to be used along side the toner and serum? I use the toner and the superskin serum. Is this to be used instead of one or both of these products, or as well as?
I used smooth and glow and instant skin tonic and the new tonic I use every 3 or 4 days , depending how I feel . I always use superskin moisturiser I hardly use the serum

I love the Superskin Advanced but will it clog my pores if I use it day as well as night

We can confirm that our Superskin Advanced Brightening Essence can be used alongside our Instant Boost Skin Tonic, as part of your skincare routine.
There are two phases to the Essence – an Aqueous phase and an Oil phase. Those two phases are made separately. Once shaken, they combine into one formulation. Due to the slightly oily texture, we would recommend using the Essence after our Instant Boost Skin Tonic.

I use the cleanse and glow range - do I use this after the toner and before moisturiser or instead of anything else?
I use it after cleansing, instead of toner, on a cotton pad but not near the eyes! I use regular toner around the eye area, then moisturise.
