CRANBERRY SEED OIL
(Vaccinium macrocarpon)
Used in our products for its ability to help improve moisture retention, cranberries are native to the peat wetlands of North America. Rich in skin-plumping essential fatty acids and nourishing vitamin E, our oil is produced by cold-pressing the seeds of the bright, red berries.
ACACIA TREE EXTRACT
(Acacia senegal)
A plant based alternative collagen from the acacia tree – mimics the benefits of collagen to leave skin looking firmer, plumper and moisturised.
ROSEHIP SEED OIL
(Rosa rubiginosa)
Famous for its excellent moisturising properties, rosehip seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids and helps enhance the barrier function of the skin while improving moisture retention.

Feels like a treat in a jar
Love this cleansing balm. Feels so nice when I wash my face with it. Feel like it is getting deep into the skin and cleaning the day away. I follow it with the glow cleanser and feel like my skin looks glowy and well.

Another great cleanser!!
First time using today as my skin as gone quite dry so thought I would try this for a change. It’s gorgeous.. my skin definitely felt hydrated along with the superskin in serum moisturiser and obviously the all time favourite tonic! So glad LE reverted back to the original version of this.
Would like to see more cloths available to buy separately please as this was also a particularly added bonus to the balm! Totally different from C&P with the muslin cloths ..

One of the best cleansing balms
A lovely product to use, gentle on your skin but still deeply nourishing. It doesn't dry your skin out and is the perfect start to your skincare routine. The only disadvantage is that it's not great for using around the eyes but that's easily worked around for the other benefits it brings.

A delight to use, A home Spa Treat.
This balm is beautiful to use as a cleanser and also left on as a mask. I have tried several other balms from different brands but this one is not overpowering in its smell or texture and its very easy to apply.I have found that it leaves my skin soft and not dry and there is a plumpness to it.

A real treat for your skin
I had been wanting to try Advanced Nourishing Cleansing Balm for a while and was given a pot for Christmas. I don’t know why I waited so long, it is gorgeous on your skin and leaves your skin feeling so smooth and hydrated.

How often can you use the cleansing balm with my other liz Earle skin products
Fantastic product, I use it practically every day! I am unable to use most other brands on my skin (as I have quite sensitive skin), but Liz Earle products are just an angels touch on my skin all my friends comment on how great my skin looks for my 60yrs!! Go for it !

Can you use this over your eyes ?

Our Superskin Advanced Nourishing Cleansing Balm helps skin regain the look of youthful volume in one ultra-nourishing cleanse, this can be used to cleanse the skin morning and night. The cleansing balm gently removes waterproof makeup, SPF and impurities whilst boosting moisture to reveal instantly plumper, smoother looking skin.
This product was tested for use on and around the eyes to remove makeup and was shown that it was safe for this use. There is a safety warning on the side of the product regarding use around the eyes, however this refers to if the product gets inside the eye.

Hi is this cleansing balm suitable for sensitive skin? I have excema prone skin usually under control, I also have some allergies at times of stress. I have used a whole pot of the cleansing balm and recently had a kin reaction and unsure what it is from!

Whilst we do have a number of customers who suffer with particularly sensitive skin and skin conditions such as eczema unfortunately, there are no guarantees that individual products within our range are going to suit everyone. It would be difficult for us to recommend any products from our range, as we don't know which ingredients your skin may be sensitive to.
We can confirm that all of our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible, but we would always recommend our customers carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time. A small amount should be applied close to the area of intended use. Should you experience any redness, irritation, or discomfort during the next 24 hours – or at any point after the patch test - then we would advise to immediately discontinue use.
Please be assured that if any product purchased directly from our website or Customer Centre proves to be unsuitable for use, we have a great 60 day returns policy.

Do you use this instead of cleanse or polish? Or before?
I cleanse with cleanse and polish to remove all impurities and then I put the balm on after to give my skin a boost of goodness like a wonderbalm

I notice the cleansing balm was only tested on 113 women, is this product not suitable for men, maybe missing a trick, as I've bed using cleanse and polish for some years. Terry

Do you have to use a cleansing cloth to remove this cleanser or will rinsing of only be ok? Thank you.

We would recommend removing our Superskin Advanced Nourishing Cleansing Balm with the white toweling cloth provided, to ensure that all product, daily grime, makeup and SPF is thoroughly removed from the skin. The skin can then be rinsed with warm water.
