Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best moisturiser I’ve been using liz Earle products now for as long as I can remember I use the cleanser and this product daily it’s the only skin care I trust on my face it travels everywhere with me. My skin gets very dry through the different seasons especially winter and that moisturiser is a life saver I honestly can’t imagine me using anything else it’s the best it’s obviously on the pricer side but it is completely worth the money and does last a while I’m obsessed with it

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Superskin moisturiser This unscented moisturiser absolutely stinks of fish. The smell lingers on the skin. It was so bad that I was actually sick. I have contacted Liz Earle who told me it's just how it smells and there is no return or exchange available. Given that my whole routine is Liz Earle, I am not satisfied with their response. They should warn that the product smells awful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised I had to find a new moisturiser to replace the Light Moisturiser by Liz Earle as the ingredients changed and did not suit me which was very annoying. After looking at other brands I decided to try this before swapping to another brand. I didn’t think I would like it but was very pleasantly surprised. It feels lovely on the skin and I can already see an improvement in my skin. Being in my 50s I hadn’t realised I probably needed a richer moisturiser which this is. You don’t get a lot for your money but you don’t need a lot as a little amount goes a long way each time. I would recommend to anyone to try this product. There is no smell to it and it feels creamy. I use the cleanse and polish plus toner so this finishes my mini spa off beautifully each day. Lovely product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best moisturiser ever I have used Liz Earle for many years but yes i do get seduced by the promises given by other brands. However, Liz Earle is the range i always return to and especially Superskin moisturiser. In my opinion you just cannot beat it. I often get red, sore upper cheeks and my skin can be very sensitive and easily upset and the unfragranced version delivers results from the very first use. You dont need much, it sinks in beautifully, leaves a lovely matt finish and soothes and moisturises your skin perfectly. Anyone whos tempted to try for the first time please dont hesitate. The natural neroli is lovely too but my skin prefers this one. The best moisturiser i have ever tried.

I have recently bought superskin moisturiser day and night along with all the superskin products for a full routine. When I spoke to the assistant in boots she said it was all natural. Can I ask if any of these products contain parabens.?

Asked by: THep
Hi, thanks for getting in touch. Historically, we've used the safest food-grade parabens as preservatives. Parabens have a long history of safe use in personal care and pharmaceutical products and are commonly found in nature. However, we understand that some customers prefer to avoid Parabens, and over time capability has changed to enable us to formulate with new alternative preservative blends that offer the same level of safety & performance without using Parabens. We therefore no longer use any parabens in our formulations. We hope this information helps - The Customer Care Centre

Eco Friendly Packaging - Plastic pot? Or glass?

Hello I would like to know if you have or plan to change the packaging so that it can be recycled. We can only recycle plastic bottles in my area (Greater Manchester). It would be good if it was made out of glass and can be added to our glass recycling. Many thanks
Asked by: Manchestermum
Hi there, thanks for getting in touch! Currently, not all of our packaging is recyclable or uses recycled plastic. However, please be assured that we have ongoing investigations to address this. You can read about our current progress on this topic here; https://uk.lizearle.com/content/our-packaging. We know we’re not perfect yet, but we truly believe in sustainable progress and we have lots of exciting updates coming really soon, so keep your eyes peeled! - The Liz Earle Beauty Co. Team

Age range

Hi, what age group would you recommend for this product? I am under 35 and was wondering if it is suitable as I can see a lot of reviews are not from this age range? Thanks
Asked by: Emilyyy
I have been using this for years and i would certainly give it a try even though you are under 35. Some start by using at night and then maybe go on to use in the daytime, especially in the winter months. The beauty of this gorgeous moisturiser is less is more. I find the unfragranced one gives more of a matt finish so you may find this more suitable to start with.

What will go with my Tretinoin sensitive skin

My face is usually oily but since my Tretinoin treatment my face is sensitive. I need a moisturiser which doesn't sting my face as my usual ones are stinging my face. Thank you

Hello, Whilst all of our formulations are made as mild and gentle as possible and all products are assessed and approved by independent safety experts prior to placing them on the market, we are aware that any individual can react to even the most natural of ingredients in the same way as we all can to certain foodstuffs. As a precaution, therefore, we always advise undertaking a patch test when using a new product for the first time. Will this be good for combination, spot prone but sensitive skin

Hi, I’m 36 and have always suffered with spot prone skin, at time’s my skin can look dry but other times greasy. My skin generally is quite sensitive so I’m tempted to try the unfragranced super skin, do you think this will be the best one for me? Thanks
Asked by: Alik
Thanks for getting in touch. Our Superskin Moisturiser is the richest moisturiser in our range, we would generally recommend this for those with mature skin, or dryer skin types. If you're prone to breakouts and oiliness, you might find this a little rich for you. You may prefer to try one of our new generation Skin Repair Moisturisers. We do have a great returns policy, so if you should purchase a product via our website or Customer Centre, you have 60 days to try this at home and should you need to return a product for any reason, we can provide our free post returns address, so you can return this for an exchange/refund https://uk.lizearle.com/content/returns-and-refunds I hope this information helps, but if you would like some more bespoke skin care advise, then please email our Customer Centre at naturallyactive@lizearle.com or call 01983 813913 - The Liz Earle Naturally Active Team

For younger skin?

I used the old skin repair moisturiser in dry/sensitive for a couple years and it was perfect for me! Since it has been discontinued I have tried all three of the new skin repair moisturisers and all three have not agreed with my skin and been sent back - I think it's because they are not unscented and I have sensitive skin! I am 21 and was unsure whether this moisturiser would be suitable for me as it says it is for mature skin? BUT I am fast running out of options and don't really want to switch from Liz Earle as it 'gets along' with my skin perfectly! Thank you.

Thanks for getting in touch. I'm sorry to hear that our new generation Skin Repair Creams are not suitable for your skin. We would generally recommend our Superskin Moisturiser for more mature skin types, as this contains powerful botanicals that help with the appearance of fine lines and help to plump and smooth the skin however, this is also a great moisturiser if you have dry skin, which can occur at any age. I hope this helps, but if you would like some more bespoke skin care advise, then please email our Customer Centre at naturallyactive@lizearle.com or call 01983 813 913 and one of our friendly advisors would be happy to help - The Liz Earle Naturally Active Team

It says mature but from what age? Over 50 60 etc

Asked by: Kerryp40
Its more for over 40 or if your skin needs a bit extra help. Im 53 and have been using it for many years and i find personally that this the best out there for ageing skin. Its gentle and a pleasure to use and really does soothe your skin and leave it looking comforted and dewy and less is definitely more. The unfragranced is perfect for sensitive skin, otherwise the natural neroli is lovely and slightly richer in texture.

Choosing the right moisturizer

Hi.l am nearly 49 and my skin is sensitive but can be oily in the t zone area more so on my chin area and l can breakout there. Would this cream be too rich for my skin type ? It's a bit tricky as l want to prevent my skin aging but still be mindful of my combination sensitive skin type. Thanks
Asked by: Lovethesun71
Hi i think you would find the unfragranced option the best for your skin type. Is really comforting and soothing for sensitive skin and you will find less is definitely more with this. Start off with a small amount and maybe just in the evening so you can get used to the texture and the right amount to use. Of the two options this is definitely the lighter one. I too have very sensitive skin and ive used this for years and in my opinion is the best out there and is the most gentle for ageing skin.
